Maybe it’s just been the rain or something, but I haven’t been able to take Dana Falconberry’s Paper Sailboat EP out of the CD player all week.   If you’ve got some lost love out there, or maybe you’re ready to get your yearn on, give this one a spin.  I’m in love with the spare, evocative lyrics of the title track, and I can’t stop playing the “Leave in the Middle of the Night” cut.

Word around the campfire is that Dana’s got her new full-length CD (Oh Skies of Grey)  coming out next month.

Dana’s got Arkansas connections–went to Hendrix, now lives in Austin, worked at Arkansas Governor’s School when I taught there.  Still comes back and plays at AGS regularly, including a show there this year before opening for Chris Denny and the Old Soles at WWT.

Support our girl Dana.  You can (and should) buy Paper Sailboat right here, whether it’s raining or not.

Sibilance,

Glen
